When we reviewed the announcement of the Kickstart scheme last September, we highlighted the obstacles for many small businesses by having to apply for a minimum of 30 job places (or to collaborate with other business to achieve the 30 places).
From 3 February 2021, the Kickstart Scheme has changed:
– No longer need a minimum of 30 job placements to apply directly for a grant;
– You can apply online yourself.
The other requirements and benefits can be found here.
It is fantastic news that the barriers for small businesses to benefit from the scheme have now been removed.
If you would like further information or help on how you could benefit from the Kickstart Scheme, please get in touch.
